Back bigger than ever, Belsonic returned to Belfast this year in its new home at Titanic Quarter. As official drinks partner, vodka brand Absolut created a range of interactive activities in the VIP tent, helping festival goers embrace their ‘A.Face’.
The aim was to introduce a fresh digital element to further extend the brand message #AbsolutAface. Image Zoo designed, project managed and realised the centrepiece of the brands activities, the A.Face wall. It featured a large bottle shape filled with the faces of festival goers. The concept was simple, take a selfie, upload to twitter and experience the Absolut digital artist treatment. These images were then displayed on the Absolut bottle digital screen alongside the slogan, “Don’t be just A.Face in the crowd”.
Festival goers got to spot their A.Face up in lights and were encouraged to take photographs and selfies at the A.Face wall.
Big name acts such as Faithless, Chemical Brothers and Ellie Goulding brought a diverse audience and high footfall to the event over the first nine nights and brand exposure over one month was epic, embracing digital and outdoor platforms. The iconic location and awesome line-up delivered an amazing experience that enabled participants to create a piece of art by becoming a piece of Absolut art.
