It was all hands on deck as The Tall Ships sailed into Belfast in July 2015. Up to 80 vessels under sail graced our shores, and the event attracted over half a million people. We worked with Belfast City Council to dress the city top-to-toe with a variety of media platforms including City Dressing, Greeters and Banners.

 

Aimed at building awareness and excitement around Belfast's biggest event in 2015 The Tall Ships campaign decked 11 of Belfast's busiest streets with eye-catching and colourful City Dressing that formed corridors of influence through Belfast’s retail heart.

 

We also put the message right under people’s noses with strategically positioned Greeters at high footfall pedestrian clustering points.

 

The Lagan Weir Banners were seen by the half a million visitors who attended the 4 day event. This, along with the opening of the new foot bridge in June and the large variety of events in the Odyssey Arena, ensured a wealth of opportunities to see.
