Workday, the cloud and human resources software company, brought Rising Europe to Dublin this year. The 4 day conference, held at The Convention Centre welcomed delegates from 27 countries to learn, collaborate and network.

Working closely with the specialist, agency and the client, we were tasked with promoting the event, creating the wow factor and to drive traffic to their social media channels.

After 3 months of design development, acquiring permissions and handling all the paperwork, we manufactured a 30m prop, set it on pontoons, sailed it up the Liffey and anchored it directly opposite the centre in time for the convention launch event.

The floating #tag remained on display for the duration of the conference and LED floodlights gave extra exposure during the winter evenings.

Despite the weather, the event was a success, produced on time and on budget:

  • 6 days on display

  • 1,200 conference attendees

  • 12,000 OTS per day *

  • 3,900 cars passed per day *

  • 1,200 pedestrains passed per day *
